Dear Ocular Circulation Experts, colleagues and friends,
Ophthalmology and in particular retinal imaging is a rapidly developing field presenting new diagnostic technologies and therapeutic strategies in a fast and ever increasing rhythm. Innovation is often triggered by technology which leads to clinical insight then resulting in even more advanced tools. By definition progress originates from interdisciplinary engagement and this is what the International Ocular Circulation Society (IOCS) represents most comprehensively.
The biennial meetings are designed to provide a platform covering the most exciting innovations from basic and clinical research as a ground for interactive discussion between representatives of the whole spectrum from hardware to software to clinical use. It is of course the greatest pleasure and privilege to invite you to a real face-to-face conference. There is no doubt that personal interaction is the base of advanced understanding, comprehensive brainstorming and building robust partnerships in research and medicine. We are delighted to welcome the IOCS community and everyone interested in joining the program together with an internationally renowned faculty of clinicians, scientists and experts in the field of ocular circulation.
Sincerely,
Prof. Amani A. Fawzi, MD

The International Ocular Circulation Society (IOCS) promotes research in the field of ocular circulation. The field of ocular circulation is broadly interpreted to include ocular blood flow, angiography, angiogenesis, ischemia, oximetry, vascular anatomy, vascular physiology, vascular pathophysiology, and treatment of vascular diseases. An important goal is to foster international exchange of knowledge, ideas, methods, and technologies to accelerate progress in our area of research. The IOCS membership currently comprise 171 full members and 19 in-training members from 17 countries. Full members must be active researchers who have made significant contributions to our field. We encourage qualified researchers to join our society. https://ocularcirculation.org/become-a-member
IOCS holds international scientific meetings every other year and hosts discussions between scientists, engineers, physicians, professional societies, and commercial companies. Our next meeting will be in Tokyo, Japan on December 05, 2025. Abstract submission will open in early 2025, so please stay tuned!! https://ocularcirculation.org/2025-iocs-conference
